Meet Your DiveMasters
I am Divemaster Mike (Mike Bono, NAUI #66180). I am a certified Divemaster and an active Public Safety Diver. I have been heavily involved in SCUBA for five years and have certififications in open water, advanced open water, rescue diver, full face mask diver, dry suit diver, and Public Safety Diver. In addition I am a NAUI Master Scuba Diver, Instructor Assistant, and Professional Dive Master. I absolutely love sharing my passion for diving with everyone and practive patience and assistance with the primary goal of safety. In my fun diving you can find me fixated on a large coral formation, watching the smallest sea creatures do amazing things (while Manta Rays pass right behind me). I am excited to get to know y’all, so come on in, the pool is open!

Tommy Deimler
Hello! I'm Thomas Deimler, and I started my diving career in 2018. I absolutely fell in love with diving! I started the same as you with my Open Water certification and continued my education with Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Master Diver, Dive Master, and Training Assistant. I would love nothing more than to share my joy of diving with you!
Yancy Graves
My Name is Yancy Graves. I am a certified NAUI divemaster and DAN Instructor as well as serving on the Dallas Police Dive team. I have dived in multiple locations around the world and love sharing my love of this sport with everyone. I'm patient and willing to take whatever time is needed to ensure that each diver gets the training and attention they need to learn the skills to be a safe, skilled diver. My hope is that after your class, you leave with the same love of this sport that I have.
Gary Smith
Gary started diving in 2005 at Eastfield College. Since then, he’s earned multiple certifications through several agencies and done hundreds of dives all over the world. Gary’s dived all over the Caribbean, the Atlantic, the Pacific, and many freshwater bodies around the US. His dream destination is currently the Philippines or the Galápagos Islands. That’s subject to change depending on the next great place he hears of. His favorite dive destination is the Flower Banks National Marine Sanctuary in the Gulf of America where he has done the majority of his diving as a crew member on the MV Fling. If you have any questions about the best diving in Texas, ask him, and he’ll talk too much about it. Gary is a patient and helpful divemaster and enjoys working with nervous or apprehensive students. When not diving, Gary enjoys fly fishing, hiking, traveling with his wife and kids, and visiting national parks.
Garin Thomas
We’re waiting on Garin to share his BIO and his passion for scuba. He’s just really busy right now.
