Meet Your Instructors

Cody Maniord

Gravity is optional, but safety isn't. As a NAUI Instructor and full-face mask specialist, I’ve been guiding divers into the blue since 2021 with a heavy emphasis on readiness and diving physics. I’m a DAN First Aid and CPR Instructor who believes that the more you understand the science of the squeeze, the more you can enjoy the magic of the float. Whether we’re geeking out over pressure gradients or mastering emergency protocols, my mission is to make you the most prepared (and relaxed) diver on the boat.

Thomas Wood - First Aid Instructor

Thomas teaches Diving Medical Emergencies with a practical, down-to-earth approach. Drawing from years of real-world experience in emergency care and professional instruction, he keeps classes engaging, realistic, and easy to apply.

He believes medical training should build confidence — not stress. His goal is for divers to leave feeling prepared, capable, and comfortable stepping up if something unexpected happens.
